My Journey to Becoming a Life Coach

Life is a journey of growth, transformation, and finding purpose. Along the way, we encounter challenges that test us, moments that inspire us, and people who guide us to new possibilities. Through all of life’s twists and turns, I’ve come to believe in the incredible power of personal growth and the transformative impact of having someone in your corner—a guide who helps you uncover your strengths, gain clarity, and take meaningful steps forward.

Finding My Path
Growing up, I faced challenges that tested my resilience and shaped my outlook on life. A significant turning point came with the loss of my mother during high school, an event that forever changed my world. Throughout the years of grief and growth that followed, I was fortunate to have incredible people—mentors, teachers, bosses, friends, and family—who shared their wisdom and guidance. Though they may not have called themselves life coaches, their influence was instrumental in helping me navigate life’s complexities.

Later in life, while transitioning from full-time employment to freelancing, I discovered the world of personal development through podcasts, books, and community connections. Listening to Jay Shetty’s podcast and reading You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero sparked a profound shift in my mindset, giving me the confidence to build my freelancing business. Over time, this journey led me to the world of life coaching—a career that felt like a natural extension of my passion for helping others.

Why Coaching?
The decision to become a life coach wasn’t one I made lightly. Over the course of a year, I reflected deeply on how this path aligned with my strengths and passions. It was clear to me that life coaching aligned with my skills as a designer, where I often helped clients uncover core problems and develop creative solutions. Similarly, as a coach, I aim to empower clients to find clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.

My Coaching Philosophy
My coaching style is rooted in adaptability and empathy. Each session is tailored to the client’s unique needs, whether that means diving into challenges, creating actionable plans, or simply offering a safe space to reflect and be heard. Sessions are 100% confidential, and I encourage open, honest communication.

Above all, I view coaching as a partnership. It’s about meeting my clients where they are and helping them move forward at a pace that feels right for them.

Making an Impact
At the heart of my work is the desire to create a ripple effect. By helping one person grow and transform, I believe that change can extend outward to positively impact their relationships, families, and communities.

My focus is on empowering women to overcome people-pleasing tendencies, set healthy boundaries, and reclaim their authentic selves. As someone who has navigated the balancing act of motherhood, marriage, and personal growth, I understand the challenges of putting yourself first. My mission is to guide women toward living a more balanced, fulfilling life where they feel confident and aligned with their purpose.

Looking Ahead
I’m excited about the future and the opportunity to build a supportive community of women who uplift and inspire one another. My goal is to empower 5,000 women in the next five years, helping them prioritize their needs, embrace their authenticity, and create lives they’re proud to lead.

If you’re ready to take that first step toward clarity, confidence, and transformation, I’d love to connect with you. Together, we can create the life you’ve always envisioned—one filled with purpose, fulfillment, and joy.
